The AASH National Board of Directors consists of: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, Recording Secretary, Regional Directors for Central, East, South and West, and the AASH Ambassador. Ex officio: National Office Director
Except for the National Office Director and the AASH Ambassador, all of the above are filled by alumnae/i who are elected by the Delegate Body of the Associated Alumnae and Alumni of the Sacred Heart at the biennial National Conference. The 44th AASH National Conference will be May 18-20, 2023 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
General Responsibilities of National Board Members:
1. Must attend the National Conference before election and at the close of the biennium and the virtual Regional Conference held the fall preceding the National Conference.
2. Must attend in person, the annual June meeting of the Board in the year of election and the following year.
3. Attend monthly Board calls by phone/video and other calls as needed.
4. Have ability to communicate regularly by email, phone and video call in a timely manner.
5. Check and contribute regularly to www.aash.org and all AASH social media channels.
6. Support the activities of the region in which they reside.
7. Work to ensure a smooth transition for the incoming Board Members following the end of their term.
