Fall 2025

Dear Sacred Heart Alumnae and Alumni,

With autumn finally upon us in full force, I can’t help but be reminded of new beginnings and beautiful change with golden leaves all around—even if those of us in California are still experiencing 70 degree weather!

I am honored to introduce myself as Molly Kaspura, the Western Regional Director for the 2025-27 term. I am incredibly eager to take up the task! I attended Academy of the Sacred Heart for elementary school before graduating from Villa Duchesne in 2022. Currently, I attend Santa Clara University where I am a senior (scary!) studying for my Bachelor’s of Science in Anthropology. When grad-school applications are not bogging me down, I love baking, gardening, and watching sappy TV shows with my sorority sisters.

In my not-so-unbiased opinion as a “Sacred Heart lifer,” the education I received compares to none. And I know this sentiment is shared widely among the incredible alumni I am privileged to call my family. Our tight-knit network doesn’t just exist on pamphlets or as numbers on websites, but through real, genuine, life-long bonds. Through my new role as Western Regional Director, I plan to continue fostering alumni relations by connecting newly grads to experienced mentors, other Sacred Heart alums in their universities or new cities, and holding workshops to build life and work skills.

I am thrilled to begin this journey with you all, and I would love to hear how I can best provide for our West Coast community. Please feel free to reach out to share upcoming events and have them featured in our quarterly newsletter, ask me questions, or to chat!

To keep up-to-date with AASH and Region activities, please visit the AASH website at www.aash.org or check out our social media channels on Facebook (AASH group) and Instagram (@sacredheartaash).

On behalf of myself and the AASH Board, we wish you Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year!

With warm regards,
Suzanne Robinson (Overbrook/Bryn Mawr), Eastern Regional Director
Laura Spinelli (Bloomfield Hills), Central Regional Director
Linzee LaGrange (Grand Coteau), Southern Regional Director
Molly Kaspura (St. Charles/Villa Duchesne), Western Regional Director

For a good read:
If you’re looking for a book to read in between holiday festivities, check out the newly released novel Not Yet Lost, by Janis M Falk (Grosse Pointe / Bloomfield Hills ‘75). The novel was inspired by a field trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts that Janis took during her Sacred Heart years. Lean more about the book HERE

Alum Spotlight:

Sheridan Road alumni Molly Fedick founded Buzzkill Wines, a non-alcoholic wine brand that has received industry awards and recognition for its commitment to craftsmanship and taste. She recently signed with the entertainment agency CAA, and is working on her first novel. If you’re looking to celebrate responsibly this holiday season, consider checking Buzzkill out and supporting a fellow alum! Cheers to being fearless, Molly! Read more about Molly’s journey HERE
